Painting

Oil painting was like a revelation. I had never been able to afford oil paints and didn’t like using acrylics because the color always dried differently than its wet counterpart, which made color theory particularly difficult. During college, I got to really experiment with oils and discover a new passion that has led me to participate in juried exhibitions.
